2025 NEW RIDER REGISTRATION

NEW RIDER REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.

 

New Rider Registration will open on Mon, Mar 10, 2025 @ 12 PM.  There will be limited spots available on the 2025 Team.  Registration will be on a first come first served basis.

Please read below for more information about the team and the responsibilities and expectations of the parents and the student rider.

The REGISTER FOR WAIT LIST BUTTON at the bottom of this page will become active when the registration period is open.  This link will direct you to a Google Form so that we can collect your contact information.

Filling out this form will automatically place your student athlete(s) on the 2025 Waiting List.  If invited to join the team, you will receive an email with an invite to start the registration process with NICA and the team.

Mountain Bikers

PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Our organization does not exist without parent volunteers.  Every parent of a student athlete must volunteer in some capacity - either on or off the bike.  There are many volunteer opportunities during the season.

  • 2-4 Hour Shifts

RIDER RESPONSIBILITIES

PRE-SEASON

  • April 1 - May 31

  • 8 Activities including:

    • Trail Maintenance

    • Skills Clinics

    • Fun Rides

TRAINING SEASON

  • June 1 - Aug 31

  • Minimum of 2 rides/week

  • Required to maintain 75% or better practice attendance to qualify for races and to secure following season place on the team.

  • Tuesday's from 6 AM - 8 AM

    • Local Ride (Mueller Park, Tunnel Springs)​

  • Thursday's from 6 PM - 8:30 PM

    • Trails from Snowbasin to Park City​

RACE SEASON

  • 3 Races for Junior Development (7th & 8th Grades)

  • 4 Races for High School (9th - 12th Grades)

  • State Championships (by qualification only)

  • 100% Attendance Required for all races

JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT FEES (7TH & 8TH GRADE)

  • Team Race Kit

    • $55-85 Team Race Jersey (depending on size)

    • $55-95 Team Race Bibs, not required but strongly encouraged

  • $235 NICA: Utah League
